Financial sales jobs set to improve in 2010

The number of people achieving sales recruitment success could be about to boom, according to one industry expert.

Recruitment firm Michael Page said that the amount of financial sales jobs available is set to "significantly improve" as confidence returns to the banking sector this year.

The Daily Mail reported that the number of jobs in this sector has doubled compared to the same time a year ago, with firms looking to revive recruitment plans in order to keep pace with the economic recovery.

It was also reported that the Michael Page group felt like the UK had "stabilised" in recent months, however, recruitment revenue was still at a reduced rate.

"While conditions remain difficult in all areas, towards the end of 2009 both our banking and sales businesses started to show signs of improvement," the group added.

Recently, Morgan McKinley's London Employment Monitor for January 2010 showed that the number of people experiencing sales recruitment success in the last month has risen by 60 per cent compared to the same time last year.

As a recruitment provider to many of the UK’s major banks, mortgage lenders and building societies Aaron Wallis have a deserved reputation within Financial Services recruitment. Their dedicated FS consultants recruit sales professionals across Retail Banking and Financial Services including IFA’s and Mortgage Broking.
