Govt proposals 'could affect those in financial services sales jobs'

The government has issued new proposals requiring companies offering credit and store cards to be fairer, which could affect those in financial services sales jobs.

Kevin Brennan, consumer minister, claims that the industry needs to get its act together and offer customers a better deal.

He emphasises the importance of those in financial services sales jobs clearly explaining the terms and conditions of cards in order to avoid confusing customers.

"Consumers have a real responsibility to manage their finances properly, but they also have a right to clear information to enable them to do that. Consumers should not feel each month as if they've been exploited or disadvantaged," he explains.

Mr Brennan warns that the current relationship between those in financial services sales jobs and the customer cannot go unchallenged.

It is crucial that the consumer is put back in the driving seat of the relationship, he claims.

In other news, financial sales jobs were recently created by Belfast-based ferry company Norfolkline, presenting new opportunities for those looking at sales recruitment services.

As a recruitment provider to many of the UK’s major banks, mortgage lenders and building societies Aaron Wallis have a deserved reputation within Financial Services recruitment. Their dedicated FS consultants recruit sales professionals across Retail Banking and Financial Services including IFA’s and Mortgage Broking.ADNFCR-1617-ID-19429732-ADNFCR
